Who we are

This website sells and hosts novels by Maren Vale. It is operated by ThroneEra, Zeughofstraße 1a, 10997 Berlin, Germany. Contact for any privacy question: support@throneera.com.

When you buy

Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, which acts as the reseller and Merchant of Record. Waffo collects your payment details. We receive your email address, name if provided, order reference, amount and payment status. We never receive your full card details. We use this to deliver your reading access, answer questions and meet legal and tax obligations. If you start a checkout but do not complete the payment, we may send you one reminder email about that order, based on our legitimate interest in helping you finish your purchase. You can object at any time by writing to support@throneera.com.

Advertising measurement

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. They can record that you viewed a page, reached the end of the free chapters, started checkout or completed a purchase, together with technical data such as your browser, IP address and Meta cookies (_fbp, _fbc). For purchases we send Meta a one-way hashed version of your email address. Campaign parameters in the link you clicked (such as utm_campaign or fbclid) are attached to your order. You can control ad personalisation in your Facebook settings.

Stored on your device

Your browser stores your reading link and your reading position so you can continue where you left off. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operation.

International transfers

Waffo, Meta and Vercel may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Advertising data is kept by Meta under Meta's policies.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Write to support@throneera.com. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Age

Our novels contain mature romantic themes and are intended for readers aged 18 and over.
